Ingredients

Scale

1-small onion
1-TBS cooking oil
1-14-ounce package of shaved beef
1-TBS Worcestershire sauce
9-Hawaiian rolls
9 slices of cheese (Cheddar, Provolone or American)
9-Beer-battered frozen onion rings, slightly defrosted
2-TBS melted butter
1-TBS minced garlic
Salt and pepper

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Take 9 frozen onion rings out of the freezer and defrost for about 20 minutes.
3. Add the oil and onions to the frying pan and sauté on medium heat, until the onions are tender.
4. Add the shredded beef and Worcestershire sauce to the same pan and cook for a few minutes, until browned.
5. Line a 9×9″ baking pan with foil and place 9 of the Hawaiian roll bottoms into the bottom of the foiled dish.
6. Layer the shredded beef and onions evenly over the rolls and top with 9 slices of cheese. It’s OK to overlap the cheese slices.
7. Next, layer the tops of the Hawaiian rolls over the cheese to complete each slider.
8. Place butter and minced garlic in a small glass dish and microwave for about 6 to 10 seconds or until butter is melted.
9. Using a pastry brush, brush the top of each slider roll with the garlic butter.
10. Add an onion ring to the top of each slider and brush the remaining garlic butter onto the onion ring.
11. Place the uncovered backing dish into the oven and bake for about 25 minutes.
12. Remove from oven, place cheesesteak sliders on a serving dish with a toothpick through the top of each one, and serve.
