Cherry Crumble Pie Bar Tips

  • If you want more fruit filling in your cherry crumble pie bars, you can use two cans of pie filling, but you will want to drain some of the syrup out so that the bars are not too watery.
  • I like to lightly grease the bottom and sides of a ceramic baking dish, but you can also line the dish with parchment paper if you want to lift the bars out of the dish prior to cutting.
  • This recipe can be made with other canned pie fillings such as apple or blueberry.
  • It’s important to cool this dessert before cutting and serving.
  • Cherry crumble bars can be served with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
