Summer’s almost here, and that means it’s officially patio season—cold drinks, barefoot mornings, and long conversations while just hanging out. Maybe it’s because I live in New England that it’s so exciting when the weather finally heats up with lots of sunshine. But it is also when we officially pull out the patio furniture and decide what we no longer want and we want to buy for our outdoor summer refresh.

9. My Affordable Summer Refresh for the Deck
Every summer I like to do my outdoor refresh and switch things up, mainly on my deck and in my sunroom. Here you can see I bought a colorful outdoor rug for the deck. I love it because it’s lightweight and easy to shake out. Plus it folds up nicely into a small square for super-easy storage. I also bought this a faux brick veneer fire pit table to match the brick pillars on corners of our deck, and it blends in pretty well. Next I got a pair of faux leafy trees to put on each side of the fire pit and they have held up nicely without fading, and can be used in so many other places outdoors or indoors.
